Junior Development Consultant

Role Description:
The Esker Developer Consultant is a key member of the implementation team, responsible for customizing, integrating, and supporting Esker solutions to meet business requirements. This role ensures that solutions are delivered with quality, efficiency, and scalability, while collaborating closely with clients and internal teams across regions.
Job Scope / Responsibilities:
Solution Development & Customization
Collaborate with teams in Asia and other regions to implement Esker’s SaaS solutions.
Work closely with clients to gather requirements, conduct testing, and train end users.
Configure and enhance Esker workflows, dashboards, and reporting features.
Customize Esker solutions using a variety of technologies, including user interface design, reporting, and workflow configuration.
Integrate Esker solutions with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics.
Testing & Quality Assurance
Create and execute test scripts to validate development and product configurations.
Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Troubleshoot and resolve issues during configuration and development to ensure client satisfaction.
Client Collaboration & Training
Partner with clients to define requirements and perform gap analysis.
Document gap analysis, configurations, and provide clear technical documentation.
Collaborate with Consultant, Presales, Sales, R&D, technical support and customer success teams to resolve client issues.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Work Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in software development or solution implementation
Experience with document management, ERP integration, or AP/AR workflows is an advantage.

Skills & Abilities
Familiarity with Agile methodology and object‑oriented programming.
Strong knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server).
Experience with XML, JavaScript, ASP.NET, C#, SAP, and/or VB.
Proficiency with Crystal Reports.
Knowledge of APIs, SFTP, Web Services, and integration technologies.
Comfortable working with AI-driven tools and solutions.
Languages
Fluent in English.
Mandarin, Cantonese, or French proficiency is an advantage.
